ERP IMPLEMENTATION PROJECT MANAGER

Position Objective:

As Project Manager, your role will be enabling ERP projects and programmes to run successfully and effectively. You will work with colleagues across the organisation and our network to develop ERP projects that work towards achieving our mission of a fully-rounded education. You will have responsibility for ERP projects across the organisation which will require day-to-day management, relationship holding as well as taking a long term strategic view to the ERP project’ delivery and development.
The Implementation Project Manager will work in concert with functional leads, developers and operations team members to assure project success.


Responsibilities:

Key duties and responsibilities but are not limited to those listed below:
Co-operates with the PMO and Implementation Specialist to turn the product roadmap into executable projects
Attends as a SME for the internal IT team - ensuring the team is working effectively, clearing obstacles, and leading the clients software implementation
Time blocks and presides the sprint planning and grooming meetings and follows ticket assignments
Help out with classifying, identifying, and managing risk for functional improvement requests
Engages with clients, PMO and Implementation Specialist to double check that the product vision and high-level business objectives are transparent and obtainable
Foster the team focus on the on-time delivery of agreed products
Help out with managing dependencies among cross-product teams
Eventuates and schedules projects - as per the Project Roadmap defined by the Business Owner
Coordinates with the R&D,Marketing,ASA,TQM to facilitate creation and maintenance of the Project Roadmap
Work closely together and communicates with designers, stakeholders, developers, and technical team members
Provide that the functional requirements are met, tracked, and achievable
Prepares the RACI matrix for projects in a product line
Establishes detailed reporting to management on risk assessment, project status, and milestone completion
Indicates project with reliable ticket workflows and boards
Brings together figures from business analysts, QA leads, and technical leads into recommendations
Directs project planning
Forms schedules and milestones, manages project scope and timelines, and inputs from all other teams assigns to that product
Coordinates the daily stand-ups, ensuring they are focused, timely, and brief
Lead and manage ERP implementation projects (Core Business and Core Education Development)
Plan and monitor project schedule: resources, activities and milestones. Prioritize work to achieve the best outcomes.
Analyze and manage project risk.
Cost estimating and managing project budget.
Help define project scope, goals and deliverables: Gather and understand requirements from each area to implement ERP functionalities and process.
Drive internal and external process improvements across multiple teams and functions.
Ensure customer satisfaction.
Identify and manage business processes and assist in transformation, implementation and adoption where necessary.
Centralize and manage projects issues and related escalations until resolution.
Monitor progress: Report project status and progress, by identifying/resolving deviations to the plan.
Manage reports and necessary documentation.


Position Requirements

We are particularly looking for candidates with proficiency using commonly accepted scheduling and project management tools
Minimum of 3 years of relevant Project Management experience
Background in project management, operations, and supervisory leadership
Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical colleagues

Proven experience as a project manager implementing NetSuite or other ERP solutions (Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor) – a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
Agile certifications such as CSM, PSM and PMI-ACP (desirable).
Capability to manage several projects and areas.


Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or related experience
Project management professional certification
Possess highly developed interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Excellent verbal and written English skills
